Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by answering guest questions and radiating positivity.
Serve beer and make recommendations to guests
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized taproom
Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Use the POS system and handle cash transactions
Be knowledgeable about the beer and food menu and excel in customer communication
Hosting: Greet guests upon arrival, seat guests, oversee the waitlist, and assist guests in the merchandise area.
Bussing: Buss and clean tables, clear dishes from guests, and keep the customer space clean.
Restocking glassware and supplies.
Qualifications:
Customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Beer knowledge and serving experience is a plus, but not required.
21+ years old
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 60 pounds.
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment.
Uses repetitive motions.
Can move quickly when necessary.
Can work in both hot and cold temperatures.
Able to smile and carry a positive conversation in a variety of situations.
Time Requirements:
The Southern Growl is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday. Flexible schedule is required with evening and weekend availability.
